On a whim I tweet the options to the Property Brothers from HGTV and one of them responded back with:

The roomie was excited that I got a tweet back since HGTV is pretty much all that is on our TV outside of a few select shows we watch.

The roomie and I have been leaning toward that one the most. Although all black in still in the running. He was going to chat with the painter next time she is there to paint and see what her thoughts are.

Oh the dilemma!

So, our bathroom is still a work in progress (since January!!) but is down to mainly painting, new shower curtain and a few little things here and there.

The roomie and I watch a lot of HGTV and saw a house on Property Virgins with a black/white bathroom with similar tile work that had an all black window. This led to many scenarios being generated after a post or two on Facebook. So I thought I would carry the debate on over here too.

I have the original image, plus the 3 scenarios that incorporate black.

Since I still have a few stories from March to tell, I'm doing something a bit different this month. I'm doing the character meme that was going around a few weeks ago. I plan to go back to the normal prompting in May. :)

I have a secret list of characters from multiple fandoms and have numbered them 1 through 15. Your task is to give me a prompt using the numbers in place of characters and I'll see what becomes of it.

Example: What happens when 3 and 12 have an argument and 4 is in the crosshairs?

So... the last few days haven't been pretty around here.

Wednesday in the early morning (5am-ish) we crawled out of bed to tornado sirens and went to the basement for about an hour. Luckily the storm broke up and the tornado on the ground found jumping back and forth over the Ohio River interesting, so we didn't have anything from it. However, it did do some damage nearby including destroying a few mobile homes.

Then today everyone knew the storms were coming. And they came. When it came over us, our office caught the hail while the rotation part was a few miles over in a different part of town. Haven't heard that any confirmed tornado touched down around town, but there were wall clouds and funnels spotted. So we dodged a bullet. It also broke a record high just before the storm by reach 80 degrees and then dropped down to like 50 after...

Other places have not dodged unfortunately... Harrisburg, IL is just an hour north of me and then there's all the other places like So. Indiana and the rest of Kentucky. And those still getting storms tonight. Everyone be safe out there!

Below is the videos I took of the hail prior to the tornado siren going off (listen for that at the end). The boss vacated us from the office and took us to his house a few minutes drive away to wait it out in his basement. He had two trees uprooted behind his house, but they were far enough away not to fall on anything.
