Day 24 - a photo taken indoors
June 6, 2014
I went with my roommate to his grandmother's house last week to help him start to sort through closets for what could be sold since she passed away in early May. While digging in the back of her bedroom closet, I found this well worn gem of a book title Memoirs of a "Happy Hooker," Uncensored Edition. It was the most awesome find in a 90-something year old's closet.

While thumbing through the book, there were many graphics, but this one was the best in my opinion.
Day 25 - a photo that represents an emotion
June 2010
Actor Sam Witwer made this face just for me at the Superman Celebration. I don't know what emotion he is depicting there, but it could be, "Why did I agree to sign all these autographs??!!"
Day 26 - a photo of something old
May 2014
This is my family tree (my dad's side that is). It follows my dad's dad back to my great-great-great grandfather (give or take a great) who came over from Germany with his wife pre Civil War. A few of a my great uncles traced the family in detail to make this tree and it's sister copy that is a table at my uncle's house. The tree itself came down in a tornadic storm on June 4, 1993 and was a sapling when the battle of the Alamo was fought. Everyone was put on roughly the corresponding ring to when they were born up to 1993. I circled in red the rough area where my name is on the outer edge of the tree since I was only 12 when it came down. Years later, they did more research and traced the family name back to a woman who had an illegitimate son and never said who the father was so the son got her unmarried last name.
Day 27 - a photo (or photos) that tells a story
October 2002
This was the gingerbread haunted house gone wrong. Me and 3 friends in college decided to make the box kit one night. We delved right in and quickly realized that the thing wasn't going to say together. By the time it was over, orange was everywhere and a can of greenbeans resided inside the falling down house. So we cut out the important note that none of us read: "IMPORTANT: Completely read through instructions before you begin.
Day 28 - a photo of something/one special to you
December 2004
This is the house pre-fire. It was built by my great-great-grandmother. It would have been 100 years old this year. It will always be home to me.
