Ice Storm Aftermath Pics, Comcast & Life...

Comcast is almost back! They restrung the wire to the apartment on Saturday but my internet is still spotty and I'm still missing some features and channels on the TV... But it is coming back! Yay!

I also took some pictures on the 14th of some of the debris still around my apartment. They're behind the cut. These pictures are what it still looks like today, 3 weeks after the ice started falling...

And I also have been working on the five things prompts. I'll be posting the first one tonight. :-)

Caption: 02/14/2009; Yes. That is the transformer still lying on the ground where it fell. They put a new one up and just left that one laying there.

Caption: 02/14/2009; I just like the view of that tree trunk on the corner of the street.

Caption: 02/14/2009; Picture piles like this all over town on the sides of every street and in the middle of the divided streets as well as the sides... Everywhere you look there is wood.

Caption: 02/14/2009; Parts of trees are still hanging by threads all over town. Sometimes it doesn't feel safe driving because you never know when something might fall. This is in the front yard of my apartment.
